Total SOL delegated to validators that is eligible for leader-slot assignment and inflation rewards in the current epoch. The core measure of economic security: the higher and more widely distributed the active stake, the more expensive it is for any coalition to attack the chain.
Each validator's active stake in SOL is recorded daily. At the network level, all validator stakes are summed to produce the total. The same sum is applied within each client, scheduler, or country group. A USD equivalent is computed using the daily average SOL price.
Aggregation: Sum of active stake across all validators in the group.
