Total priority fees collected across the network per day. Priority fees are optional, set as CU limit × CU price, that users add to jump the queue for block space. They are a key demand signal; spikes track high-activity periods like launches, mints, and liquidation cascades. Since SIMD-0096, 100% goes to the block producer.

Total network-wide priority (compute-budget) fees collected each day. Priority fees are optional payments that boost inclusion priority; they are determined by the requested compute unit limit and price, not actual CUs consumed. Post-SIMD-0096 (2025-02-14), 100% of priority fees go to the validator. Pre-SIMD-0096, 50% were burned.
Priority fees are isolated by subtracting the base-fee portion (signatures times 5,000 lamports) from each transaction's total fee. The result is averaged per block, then scaled to a daily total using the day's block count.
Aggregation: Daily total derived from average-per-block multiplied by block count.
